So, what is an italian charm bracelet?
They're usually made of stainless steel and the charms are little rectangles that link together.
The charms themselves can either be flat enamel, an engraving or burned on image, or a little dangling charm attached to a loop on the face of the link.
There are sellers online that even sell keychain or bag charm varients!

There was a point in the early 2000's when they were really popular. I remember having a really cheap one that pulled out all my arm hairs, but all of these tend to do that. I've always wanted a charm bracelet but didn't like the idea of charms dangling off my arm or making little noises... and then, recently, I remembered these! Perfect!!

I didn't even realize they were coming back into style (sort of), which is pretty neat and why I'm making this page!
It's already yanked out all the hairs it can reach, so now I'm immune to that.

Places to Get Charms

I'm ONLY going to include websites I've personally recieved charms from and will be sure to mention any issues I've had!
I will not be listing Alibaba or Temu or anything like that, though they do have very cheap charms there.

ETSY
ItalianCharmStore
I got a b-grae blank bracelet (scratched up, which was communicated on the listing!) and some charms here. None of the charms are branded and many of what they list seems to be dropshipped, or at least I've seen them on sites like Alibaba. I did get a golden scooter charm from this seller and it fell off the backing within two days.

WEBSITES
Stamp The Moment
Found this one while looking for that chubby rat charm I have and then saw someone else online say it was legit. I ordered from them and my order arrived in five days! They sometimes offer a blank bracelet for one center with charm purchases. All but one of the four charms I bought were branded, so I suspect they sell a mix of legit branded and dropshipped charms.

Charm Brands

This is by no means in-depth, I'm still learning a lot of this!
To know what brand your italian charm is, check the back for the name!
If it says "stainless steel" or it's blank, I assume it's something that's been dropshipped from a Chinese marketplace.
NOMINATION
These are the OG italian charm bracelets. Super expensive, but notable just for starting things off!
ZOPPINI
The second most well-known brand! More affordable than Nomination.
ITALIA
I can't find much into about this brand, other than the fact that it no longer exists outside of second-hand shops, but I love the charms I find on ebay! They made a lot of officially liscenced charms, and I'm hoping to work on a page featuring images of a lot of their charm catalogue images!
D'LINK
I have a couple charms from this brand! They're very good quality and mostly found on sites like ebay or etsy since they're defunct.
ROUSSIO
Just like the majority of current brands... this one is long gone! I have several charms of theirs from shops selling them, however and they're a brand I recommend. THey made my absolute favorite rat charm!
CHARMETTE
I guess this is a current and popular "brand" of charms right now on instagram and tiktok, but from reddit reviews it's clear they're just a reseller or dropshipper of Allibaba charms!! I'd personally avoid them.
CLAIRE'S & ICING
Though they no longer make them (I think), Claire's and Icing both sold charms under the title of "Link to Link" and "Add-A-Charm" bracelets!

I Just Think They're Neat

No promises on if I'll ever buy these, usually because they're being sold for more than I'm willing to pay, but I like them!
